Každá postava bez daného určení nemůže získat žeton moci, takže plán blokuje věhlas, ale i schopnosti typu Rakhara. Efekty, které na postavu žeton přesouvají (jako například Edmure Tully nebo Grenn) se uskutečnit mohou. Postavy imunní vůči účinkům soupeřových plánů (Bran nebo Arya v přítomnosti Luwina nebo Septy) žetony moci získávat mohou.
