Cerseina reakce se spustí, kdykoliv je odhozena karta z ruky (intrikářská hrozba, rezervy, efekt karty). Při použití Hlav na kůlech se reakce spustí rovněž - karta je z ruky odhozena, jen se následně změní místo, kam se karta dostane. Pokud je odhozeno více karet najednou (Strážci Západu, hrozba 2 v intrikářské), Cersei dostane v tomto případě jen jeden žeton moci (dle textu reaguje na odhození nějakého množství karet, ne na každou jednotlivě odhozenou kartu).
