Pokud se rozhodnete umístit do hry kartu, jejíž jiná kopie už je ve hře, umístíte do hry tuto kopii jako duplikát této postavy. Nikdy se... pak uvádí, že na konci fáze je odhozena tato KARTA (konkrétní, do hry umístěná), takže je odhozen duplikát, pokud je stále ve hře. Pokud byl duplikát v průběhu fáze použit a ve hře již není, nemá efekt karty Nikdy se nevsázím... na duplikovanou postavu žádný vliv. Zůstává ve hře.
