Doplněk pomáhá před Dracarys, Nočními můrami, Popravou, Sevření krakatice a podobně, kde je vybírán jen jeden cíl. Nepomáhá proti Upevnění moci, Nestranné spravedlnosti či Pohled draka, protože u nich je vybíráno více cílů. Nepomůže ani proti Slzám z Lysu, protože tato karta neobsahuje důležité slovo "vyber", pouze umisťuje na postavu žeton jedu. Přiložená postava tak nebyla VYBRÁNA jako jediný cíl soupeřovy události.
